Joe Hachem - 2005 World Series Of Poker
Joe Hachem and His Shocking Win Of The 2005 WSOP
The exciting game of poker, and more specifically the World Series of Poker is fast becoming more and more popular every single year between many professional as well as the beginner poker players around the world.
It isn't often that a poker player will appear and then enter this high stakes game of poker players, at what seems to be from out of nowhere. Shockingly to some, in the year of 2005, that is exactly what Joe Hachem did with his entry into to the World Series of Poker. This was bound to be quite a surprise to many of the more popular known names of the poker arena.
Unlike many of the other well-known players who began their successful poker careers at a much earlier age, Joe Hachem quickly proved to all that this did not always have to be the scenario to be played out. His name wasn't added to the rest of the other high profiled names among the poker players in the world of gaming, until after he had already retired. His career as a chiropractor ended when he was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder in the year of 2002. Not much later, in 2003 he decided to take his poker playing skills a lot more seriously.

Possibly the turning point for Hachem, and the point at which he decided to take his knowledge and skills to a higher level, was when he won a game that went against all odds, playing against fellow player Aaron Kanter. This face off not only gave him the advantage of having the money required for a serious career in poker, but it also gave a big boost to his confidence.
When Hachem decided to enter into the World Series of Poker in 2005, he didn't bother with trying to qualify for his shot in this huge game through a tournament. Instead, he paid the entire entry fee totaling to the large amount of $10,000.
There were undoubtedly many individuals and several top names of players who were certainly caught off guard with Joe Hachem's spectacular win of the bracelet for this event and a total of $7.5 million, when he put his skills to the test at the 2005 World Series of Poker. He certainly made the right call in entering this popular event, as it paid off monetarily and it brought his name to a much higher standing among many of the other professional names known throughout the world of poker.
Possibly even more surprising than his overall win of this event, was the fact that he did so by starting out with one of the lowest possible starting hands in the history of the WSOP.
Following his exciting win Joseph Hachem signed on with the world's biggest poker site and has become a well-known and popular spokesperson for Poker Stars.
Joseph now lives with his wife and four wonderful children in the beautiful landscaped country of Australia .
